I went out bowling the other night (!) and afterwards Michal and I stayed up until midnight watching YouTube videos about micro-cement and glass-fiber reinforced concrete. We're considering which materials to use for the counters and walls in the new house.
We saw the mouse in the living room again last night. I don't know how it does it. Michal just stuffed all the gaps between the floors and the walls with steel wool. At this point I think he's earned it.
I'm clearing out the raised beds and also somehow still gardening. I wore insulated pants, an insulated jacket, baselayers, a balaclava, and mittens out there today. It was so cold when the wind came.
Pluto entered Aquarius again today. It might mean something. The Senate released the text of the Farm Bill today. It might mean something.
I've been spending more time in the kitchen than in front of the screen lately. I'm grateful but my back hurts. In the last seven days I've made four loaves of bread, three pizzas, and, since we're specifying quantities, eight cinnamon rolls. I'm getting much better at feeding and managing our starter, and better at feeling when the dough is the right consistency.
Michal is ordering his PPE for his next project, removing all the collapsed fiberglass from and insulating the crawl space.
Today is a Tuesday.
